She’s not ready to talk to Kenya’s killer, but he should do whatever is right for him. At the end of the episode, she has a change of heart and tells Tarik he should move on whatever way he wants to. Tarik accuses Keisha of living in her own prison by not letting anyone in and trying to see grey things - humans who have done some bad things but aren’t bad people - as black and white. Kenya was always the one who encouraged Keisha to take risks, and to make matters worse, she was killed on the way home from taking measurements for Keisha’s potential cafe property. She gave up her dream of owning a coffee shop to work as a probation officer instead and never sees her nieces anymore. She’s glad the killer is rotting in jail and lashes out at Tarik when he accuses her of letting this man take her life. Tarik is open to the idea, as it seems her killer has turned a corner in prison, but Keisha is firmly against it.
